Block 41 is honored to have been selected by Nordstrom for its exclusive Season/Shift Fall Fashion Preview Show. For the event, Nordstrom dispensed with the traditional runway and used the building itself as inspiration to create an avant-garde fashion environment. “This space is so incredible” commented Nordstrom’s Fashion Production Manager Keith Wagner, “it’s just a big white box and we could come in and do whatever we wanted with it”. Twenty-one models mingled with the invitation-only crowd and appeared in 63 looks from designers such as Calvin Klein, Chloe, Dolce & Gabbana, Dries Van Noten, Fendi, Givenchy, Marques Almeida, Monse, Roksanda, Shrimps, Simone Rocha, Stella McCartney and Valentino. Guests had the opportunity to shop next season’s styles while mingling with models, fashion influencers, stylists and Nordstrom associates. Nordstrom adds it’s name to an impressive list of businesses, schools and non-profits that have selected Block 41 for their special events. The list includes Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Whole Foods, Georgetown University, Children’s Hospital, Zones, University of Washington, Slalom, KING 5, KPFF, Unico Properties, Seattle International Film Festival and many others.
